I don't know what else can be said beyond the already positive reviews that are out there for this machine. It works exactly as advertised. It is simple to use, clean, and honestly, rewarding to watch the skates of everyone in your family being sharpened in your own home, by you. I'm now sharpening skates for my neighbors and friends, and am starting to consider myself as a minor hockey equipment manager!

There are some sharpening process inconsistencies between the app and the sharpener itself, but I believe that is because I forge ahead with the sharpening process on the system while I had originally started it in the app. This is not a problem though. If anything, a minor nuisance. I suspect that I'll sort out the process that the app wants me to follow and all will be good.

I watched a lengthy Sparx 3 vs Bauer ProSharp comparison video prior to purchasing and that was VERY helpful. The Sparx3 came out on top in that review and I'm very happy with the Sparx3 system. For anyone who is interested in taking on skate sharpening at home, know that the process has been simplified by the folks at Sparx to the point where you should not be worried about damaging your skates. Most of the time it is just mount your skate and press Go!

Well done Sparx - you've made a terrific product. I would recommend this to anyone!
